Initially, I worked on refining my technique and harnessing my attention to detail, by creating life-like pieces. My earlier works highlight ordinary objects, materials, and natural landscapes that are arranged in an aesthetically-pleasing order. Every piece I composed was a physical translation of what I viewed. Through this exploration, I was able to build a solid foundation and familiarize myself with the concepts of proportionality, accuracy, and proper scale.
After establishing my initial toolset, as time went on, I broke out of my shell by taking a step forward creatively. Observation is the primer that propels the work, and imagination ultimately elevates it. I harbored a modern approach to artwork, and my most recent works reflect how I branched off to develop an illustrative style, displaying narratives that live inside my mind. I became inspired by dreamy surrealist artists, mashing items that would not normally go together into my eclectic paintings.
